Commercial Law, Insurance & Arbitration
There is a natural overlap within these three areas and with other areas in which Chambers has particular expertise, including product liability, IT and procurement matters.
Commercial Law: With our reputation in group actions and multi-party claims, we have acted in some of the largest commercial claims in recent years, particularly supply chain/defective product disputes, major property damage and contamination claims, in the Commercial Court, the TCC and international arbitration. We advise on all aspects of commercial law, including supply of goods, cross-border claims, conflict of laws and private international law, company and competition law, and commercial contracts (standard term contracts, distribution agreements, franchise agreements etc).
Insurance and Re-insurance: We have particular expertise in insurance coverage disputes, especially in relation to product liability, professional indemnity, property, factory and contractors' all risks policies. We regularly advise on and draft policy wording. We act in a wide variety of subrogated claims.
Arbitration: Particular members of Chambers have considerable experience in commercial and international arbitrations across various jurisdictions, arbitration bodies (ICC, LCIA etc) and rules.
